How fast can somebody get out here?
The line is answered 24/7 and technicians work 8:00 am – 8:00 pm, seven days. A call placed in the morning inside Phoenix usually gets a slot before the day is out; late afternoon calls are normally seen the following morning.
What does the $89 service call include?
The visit, the diagnosis and a plain explanation of what failed. If you approve the repair the $89 comes off the total. If you decide not to go ahead, that is all you owe.
Do you work on the oven side as well as the burners?
Yes. A range is two machines sharing a badge, and they fail independently — burners lighting while the oven stays cold after a monsoon outage is one of the most common calls we take.
Is my range worth repairing?
Usually, and that is a judgement rather than a slogan. Sealed burners, valves, ignition parts and oven sensors are all serviceable items on this equipment. If the fault is genuinely terminal we say so rather than sell you a repair that will not last.
Do you touch the gas line itself?
We measure at the appliance and diagnose from there. Where the reading shows the problem is upstream — a regulator, a building riser, an undersized run — you get the numbers written down so the right trade can act on them.

What the visit actually is
Four readings, then a part
Most of what people are told is a dead control board turns out to be a pressure, a resistance or a blocked port. So the call starts with instruments, in this order, and the number decides what comes off the van.

Gas side
Manometer on the manifold tap to read pressure in inches of water column, then again with every burner lit. A simmer that will not hold is far more often supply or a bypass setting than a dead valve.

Ignition
Spark gap and electrode condition, module output, thermocouple millivolts at the flame. Clicking that carries on after the flame is up is a switch or a grounded electrode, not the whole module.

Oven cavity
Probe on the centre rack through three full cycles against the setpoint, plus the sensor resistance cold. Drift and a hard sensor failure look identical on the panel and want different parts.

Air and heat
Convection blower current and rotation, door seal along the whole gasket, hinge tension, and for ventilation the blower draw plus static in the duct at the roof cap.
Work is carried out 8:00 am – 8:00 pm, seven days, and the $89 service call is credited against whatever the repair comes to.

One rangetop burner would only stay lit with the knob held down. The thermocouple was coated after a boil-over. He cleaned and reseated it, then checked the other three while he was here.

The griddle plate scorched at one end and stayed cool at the other. One burner beneath it was half blocked with old grease. Ports cleared, plate reseated, and pancakes brown evenly again.
